Faculty Summit 2025

Faculty Summit Winter 2025 happening online in January and Samara’s own Dr. Rachel Larimore will be presenting. It is a powerhouse training on how to turn ordinary days into breakthrough moments for K-5 students, both academically, socially, and emotionally.

Rachel will be sharing strategies for nature-based education with my session “How to integrate nature into your early childhood classroom.” After all, early elementary is still early childhood!

Reimagining the Role of Teachers Webinar

Join Samara’s Chief Visionary, Dr. Rachel Larimore, on January 22 at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT for a webinar she’ll be presenting with Dr. Claire Warden, co-author of her new book, Reimagining The Role of Teachers in Nature-Based Learning: Helping Children be Curious, Confident, and Caring. This webinar hosted by Natural Start Alliance will explore the new resource  designed for in-service early childhood educatorsincluding infant, toddler, preschool, and elementary providersinterested in more intentional use of nature in their teaching.

In the book, Dr. Warden and Dr. Larimore lay out the many roles teachers play when implementing nature-based strategies, and explore the research and theory behind each role, specific language or behaviors of what that role looks like in practice, and reflexive questions to help educators reflect on their practice.
