This year’s Wisconsin Early Childhood Association (WECA) conference will feature multiple sessions focused on nature-based early childhood education. Samara’s very own Dr. Rachel Larimore will lead two sessions: one on inspiring staff to incorporate nature in children's learning and another on getting started with nature-based education.

WECA anticipates more than 800 attendees from Wisconsin and its neighboring states (including approximately 350 in-person attendees each day and hundreds of additional virtual attendees). The conference draws early childhood teachers, assistant teachers, directors, and family child care owners/providers in addition to representatives from state agencies, higher education institutions, and Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agencies.
